Shiran Pallewatta

My research interests lie in the development of sustainable functional materials for environmental and energy applications, with particular emphasis on biochar-based materials, waste-derived adsorbents, polymer membranes, and other advanced material systems. 

My work spans environmental remediation, pollution control, and marine environmental protection, while my current research focuses on developing polymer membranes for microbial fuel cells. I am particularly interested in clean energy technologies, fuel cell materials, biomaterials, and polymer-based material design for sustainable applications.
